The Yoruba town of Abeokuta evolved around the base of the Olumo Rock, pictured below.
On the hill in the far center of the image stands the founding site of Baptist Boys High School (BBHS).

Lisabi was the heroic warrior who led the Egbas (people of Abeokuta) to the site. The natives of the town are called Omo Lisabi (children of Lisabi).
