We enjoyed a good game of football growing up.
The game made real fans of us Sojobi boys when Father Tiko brought what we went on to term “Target Soccer” - precision, intelligent soccer - to the country ahead of the 1976 Oympics (unfortunately boycotted).

November 1985, Nigeria shocked the world when they beat up West Germany 2-0 in the final match of the first FIFA U-16 World Cup. This feat marked the arrival of Nigeria on the world stage.
