Nigeria celebrates 50 years of Independence October 1, 2010.
To everyone to whom I seem all too often angry, please accept my case that the anger is at the blown opportunities of this great country and the potentials “to be to ALL Black people around the world what America is to White people” - quoting a disenfranchised Nigerian politician (1979). Termination of the misdirection appears hopeless - after all, the cripple whose load is crooked can’t simply straighten the load and make it all right.
Following’s just a few of the music pieces turned out by local talent in our college days. To think where the country should be today in at least this aspect of our arts and culture!
